American Institute of Commemorative Art Award for Excellence in Memorial Design
Members of the American Institute of Commemorative Art awarded the Eugene H. Faehnle award for excellence in memorial design to Lifetime Memorials for the Kern monument. The memorial also took first place in the Family Monuments category. The family wanted to incorporate doves into the design so the deeply carved arrangement of doves flying skyward is the predominant feature. The exceptional craftsmanship and pleasing scale of the finished piece make this monument an outstanding example of cemetery art.
